My Vishu Ashamsakal to one and all.
மகிழ்ச்சி பொங்க செல்வம் செழிக்க அனைவருக்கும் இனிய தமிழ் புத்தாண்டு வாழ்த்துக்கள்.
One of the biggest disadvantages of being away from India is felt prominently during such festivals. In our house we celebrate both Tamizh New Year and Vishu with equal fervor. The above video brought back so much of my childhood memories.

The Blind Painter April 2, 2008

I want to start off this month’s post with something more positive and inspiring.
Watch this amazing painter and his works; it is hard to believe this person is blind. He says he learnt to paint things by touch.
This youtube video won the 2007 youtube video awards in the inspirational category.
